B.O.M.B. Fest 2011 Announced

B.O.M.B. Fest 2011 Poster

B.O.M.B. (Bring Our Music Back) Fest 2011 takes place on May 28th -29th at Western State Connecticut University in Danbury, CT and it looks pretty cool! Weezer and Snoop Dogg are the main headliners. Some of the standout bands, in my opinion, are Coheed and Cambria, Dum Dum Girls, Best Coast, Titus Andronicus, Wavves, Holy Fuck, Small Black, and Quintron with Miss Pussycat (sidenote: I met Quintron at AS220 in Providence years ago when he came up to me and asked if I was “Mikey”…I wasn’t). Being as how this festival is fairly close to me, I’m going to make every attempt to go to it. Definitely looks like fun!

Early bird tickets are already on sale for $89 for 2 day passes, until tomorrow, when the price goes up to $109 each.

The lineup:

Weezer, Snoop Dogg, Wiz Khalifa, Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros, Coheed And Cambria, Neon Trees, State Radio, George Clinton & Parliament/Funkadelic, The New Pornographers, Shpongle presents The Shpongletron Experience, Against Me!, Best Coast, HEALTH, RJD2, Titus Andronicus, The Cool Kids, Wavves, EOTO, Portugal.
