I wouldn’t normally post about Hanson, and as much as I’m embarrassed to admit it, I did see them play a free show in Providence a few years ago, but when I’m not drinking hard liquor, I like beer. A lot of people like beer and Hanson seems to like beer too (yes…they are all now of legal drinking age). The trio plans to make an India Pale Ale style beer available in early 2012, with the very original and not surprising name of MMMHop. I see what they did with the name there!
Is this the start of a new band trend for 2011-2012? First the Dogfish Head (who make great beers by the way) made Pearl Jam Faithfull Ale, which I might track down this weekend, and now Hanson? What’s next? Adele Pale Ale? Bei-beer???
