New Nine Inch Nails Song, Album and Tour Details!

NIN album cover - Hesitation Marks

Between announcing the new album details (that’s the cover above), the first single, and a tour, Trent Reznor has had a busy week. First, there is the new album, which will be called “Hesitation Marks” and comes out on Sept. 3rd. And if you’re keeping track, this is Halo 28. I had about half of them at one point in time.

I’ve been less than honest about what I’ve really been up to lately. For the last year I’ve been secretly working non-stop with Atticus Ross and Alan Moulder on a new, full-length Nine Inch Nails record, which I am happy to say is finished and frankly fucking great. This is the real impetus and motivation behind the decision to assemble a new band and tour again. My forays into film, HTDA and other projects really stimulated me creatively and I decided to focus that energy on taking Nine Inch Nails to a new place. Here we go!

Second, there is new Nine Inch Nails music that you can hear right now! The pretty awesome first single called “Came Back Haunted” was released and has the classic NIN sound to it. Take a listen below:

Third, they are going on tour! After playing a few festivals, NIN will be touring the U.S. with Explosions in the Sky or Godspeed You! Black Emperor, depending on which dates you go to. Both are amazing choices as openers. I’m excited to hear more of the new stuff and can’t wait to see Nine Inch Nails again at Lollapalooza, then in Boston in October!
